API ABOVE GROUND STORAGE TANK REPAIR

Barclay Mechanical completed this API Above Ground Storage Tank Repair in a joint effort with Bristol Site Contractors.

To repair this tank, we shop fabricated new shell insert plates with two nozzles attached. Having the nozzles already attached to the plate was a strategic benefit for our client because it minimized downtime during the on-site repair.

Instead of attaching the shell insert plate and then welding the nozzles on, our on-site team only had to cut out a portion of the shell and replace the old plate.

All of the welding was completed and inspected to ASME and API code specifications.
